"I feel like I've failed," Real Madrid star disappointed after losing in the final to Barcelona
Saturday's defeat in the Copa del Rey final means Real Madrid will likely end the season without a major trophy.
There was a lot of nervousness in their camp after the final whistle at 'La Cartuja', but reflection for some of the players has already begun to happen.
Fede Valverde has been one of Real Madrid's best players this season, but he was unable to make the difference against Barcelona. And in a post on Instagram, he has apologized to the club's fans.
"It happened again. And it will of course happen many more times, because it is the road we are building and it is normal to fall after many kilometers. It upsets me, it makes me angry, it makes me helpless."

"I feel like I've failed them. It's been a complicated year, physically and mentally very difficult, but one day I was clear; until my legs wouldn't let me anymore. This club deserves nothing less."
"We will return, we will continue and I will be there leaving everything for the respect that Real Madrid, its people and everything that comes from playing in the most winning team in history," Valverde said.
Now with the Champions League and the Copa del Rey gone, Real Madrid can only focus on closing the four-point deficit with Barcelona in La Liga.
Los Blancos are unlikely to win the title race with five games left to play, but with another El Clasico in two weeks, they are likely to salvage their pride before the end of the season.Telegraph/
