Kosovo striker Florent Hasani made a sensational move in January to join the current leader of the Turkish First League, Amedspor from Boluspor.

The 28-year-old was undoubtedly the best player at Boluspor, where he scored 14 goals in just 19 appearances, while there were reports that the departure came as a result of dissatisfaction over some unpaid wages.

However, Hasani, in an interview with Telegrafi, revealed that these are not true, but that he was simply convinced by Amedspor's offer.

He first thanked Boluspor for their support, especially the coach who gave him the captain's armband, which helped increase his confidence.

"The first six months have been fantastic, with good matches and goals. I hope to continue at this pace in the second half of the season."

"The secret was in the self-confidence I had. I was sure I would have a good season, and the coach who promoted me to captain was a big boost to be a leader and give more than 100 percent."

Asked about the reasons for leaving, Hasani was clear: The offers came after good form, and Amedspor turned out to be the right team.

"No, there is always a solution for unpaid wages, but after a very good half-season, the offers came and of course, I talked to the club and chose the best offer that came."

"The club took the transfer fee because I still had a contract, and now I'm moving to Amedspor, a big club with a lot of fans behind me and the main favorite to get into the Super League."

Hasani has also been amazed by the fantastic reception he has received since joining the Turkish team.

"The reception was extremely good from everyone, especially from the fans. We started the second half of the season with a derby match and a direct opponent for the Super League qualification. The atmosphere was perfect, as was the party with the fans after the match."

In the end, the Kosovar striker underlined that the main goal remains joining the Turkish football elite.

"My goals are to continue at the same pace and with goals until the end, as well as to qualify for the Super League with the team," he concluded.

In the first match, Hasani came on in the second half during Amedspor's 1-0 win over Corum. He played 24 minutes./Telegrafi/
