"I'm proud to be Barcelona coach," Hansi Flick hits out at Real Madrid when talking about his busy schedule.

Coach Hansi Flick has spoken about the short recovery time given to Barcelona between their next two La Liga matches.

Flick began with a pointed statement regarding the scheduling of matches in Spanish football ahead of their match with Osasuna on Thursday night.

The Blaugrana's postponed match was rescheduled, with some of their players returning with less than 48 hours between their international matches.

The Blaugrana will also have just 65 hours of rest between their match against Osasuna and their match on Sunday with Girona.

"Real Madrid says they won't play without 72 hours of rest? Well, I'm very proud to be the coach of Barcelona," Flick initially said.

"It doesn't matter if we only have three days between the next games. That's the reality and we have to accept it."

"I think the team is in good shape and we have to be ready for this big task. But I feel very positive about it," the German concluded. /Telegraph/
