"I'm afraid of spiders, so I started sleeping in a tent," the story of the woman who found the solution to cope with her phobia

A woman who is afraid of spiders has shared the story on social media about how she sleeps in a tent on her bed to protect herself from spiders.

Estella Kyriacou, 25, was horrified when she saw a spider in the room at her flat in Clapham, London, last year.

She moved to another room with her flatmate, Imogen Clarke, 26, for a while to avoid the creature, reports the Telegraph.

After plucking up the courage to return to her bedroom, she took drastic measures.

He placed a canopy over the bed to prevent any insects from entering.

Now she's been sleeping in a tent for four months – and has no plans to stop.

"I haven't seen a single spider since using the tent," said Estella.

"But Imogen and I are both very afraid of spiders," she added. /Telegraph/
