What is known about the Hungarian resolution against Ukraine's EU membership?

The Hungarian Parliament overwhelmingly approved a resolution opposing Ukraine's membership in the European Union (EU) and the further financing of its military needs at the expense of EU countries.
In total, 142 members of parliament voted for this proposal, 28 against, while four abstained.
The document states that Hungary opposes Ukraine's membership in the EU, claiming that the country is at war and does not meet the criteria for membership, it writes. kyivindependent.
In the resolution, the parliament calls on the government not to support the launch of negotiations for Ukraine's membership in the EU.
The document also calls for a ban on sending money or weapons to Ukraine and efforts to prevent the redistribution of European funds, supposedly intended for Hungary, for the needs of Kiev.
The authors of the resolution claim that Ukraine's share in financing the next seven-year EU budget could exceed 360 billion euros, partly due to the reduction of agricultural subsidies.
The resolution also welcomes the government's request to conduct a survey among the population on further financing of Ukraine in the form of a national petition.
The document calls on the government to take all necessary measures to prevent the continuation of the EU's policy of supporting Ukraine in the war, as well as "the withdrawal of Hungary and the EU into the Russian-Ukrainian war."
Hungary last month also blocked the adoption of the 20th package of EU sanctions on Russia and prevented the granting of 90 billion euros in EU loans to Ukraine, demanding the continuation of Russian oil supplies. /Telegraph/
