A 14-year-old from Hasi has been declared wanted by the Albanian police after leaving his apartment in his father's car.
Top Channel correspondent Bekim Lekica reports that he was located and captured in Mitrovica.
Police said the incident occurred yesterday, when the 14-year-old took the vehicle without permission and left the apartment.
The family immediately filed a report at the Has Police Station, prompting authorities to launch a search to find him.
The young man managed to cross into Kosovo territory, where he was last seen exiting the city of Peja.
There, he stopped to refuel the car.
According to the Regional Police Directorate in Peja, the minor took about 79 liters of fuel and asked to pay with a card, but the gas station employee came out to get the POS and the minor quickly left in an unknown direction.
"The relevant units are carrying out the necessary investigations," stated police spokesman Fadil Gashi.
