He thought he was committing a theft without anyone seeing him, the thief in London was "betrayed by Tesla's cameras"

A Tesla car has recorded the moment a masked cyclist smashes the window and steals a £1 Stone Island jacket from the owner of the electric car who bought it from Harrods.

The thief was caught on the car's security cameras, and they gave a clear picture of the thief on a bicycle, the Telegraph reports.

However, the mask covering his face made the job of the British police in Knightsbridge, London, more difficult.

The Stone Island jacket costs around £1,300, and the driver had left a bag visible from the outside, despite having closed all the windows.

But the luxury brand of the jacket lured the thief, who didn't think twice and broke the car window to take out the bag containing the jacket.

So far, no one has been arrested, due to the fact that the mask made the work of the police who are analyzing the footage more difficult. /Telegraph/
