"He has everything to go to the World Cup" - Marco Asensio's second best season of his career opens the door for the Spanish national team

Marco Asensio is having one of the best seasons of his career with Fenerbahçe. The Spanish striker has been involved in 19 goals so far, with 11 goals and 8 assists.
The decision to leave Paris Saint-Germain and start a new chapter in Turkey had a clear goal: returning to the Spanish National Team and participating in the World Cup.
"I hope De la Fuente looks at Turkey. The national team is a clear objective for me," Asensio had declared in an interview with MARCA.

Statistics and performances that speak for themselves
Asensio's efforts are paying off. He won the Turkish Super Cup against Galatasaray (2-0), where he contributed with an assist, while in the championship he continues to be one of Fenerbahçe's key players.
In the 3-1 win over Gençlerbirligi, he assisted with a spectacular back-heel pass, confirming his excellent form.
In 28 games this season, Asensio has registered 11 goals and 8 assists, figures that bring him closer to his most productive season, that of 2022/23 with Real Madrid. In the Turkish Super League, only one player has been involved in more goals than him.
Strong support from the club and coach
The Spaniard's form has kept Fenerbahçe in the title race, just three points behind Galatasaray. Asensio has scored or assisted in seven consecutive away games, becoming one of the team's most important figures.
Fenerbahçe coach Domenico Tedesco praised his contribution, sending a message to Spain as well.

"Asensio is a top-level player. He has all the qualities to play in the World Cup," he declared. /Telegraph/
