The Speaker of the Assembly of Kosovo, Albulena Haxhiu, declined to comment when asked about expectations regarding the Constitutional Court's decision on the election of the president and the dissolution of the Assembly.

Haxhiu emphasized that today, on International Women's Day, it is more important to discuss the rights, problems and challenges that women face, than daily political issues.

"I think that today, March 8, we should talk about women's rights, their problems, the challenges they face. I will have a different presentation on other topics of daily politics, I promise you this, because of course the circumstances oblige us to give our positions on the current situation," said Haxhiu.

She made these comments after paying tribute at the "Heroinat" Memorial in Pristina.

We recall that President Vjosa Osmani dissolved the Parliament after the failure to elect a president on March 5 and consulted the parties on the date of early elections. /Telegraph/
