Former Kosovo Liberation Army fighter Haxhi Shala has been acquitted by the Special Court.
The news of his arrival was announced by his son, Flakron Shala, through a post on the social network Facebook.
He shared a short emotional message, writing: "Welcome to the homeland, father."
After his release, the Kosovo Liberation Army War Veterans Organization also reacted.
"Welcome, comrade-in-arms! We wish you health and all the best in life with your family and people," writes the KLA's OVL.
Haxhi Shala has been convicted by the Kosovo Specialist Chambers for offences related to obstruction of the administration of justice. /Telegrafi/
