MP from the Guxo Party, Haxhi Avdyli, who sided with President Vjosa Osmani, has categorically rejected the possibility of returning to the Democratic League of Kosovo.

In a statement to Kanal 10, Avdyli said that he has no plans to return to LDK and that he will continue to remain part of the Vetevendosje Movement parliamentary group, despite resigning from all positions in the Guxo party.

His statement comes just hours after LDK leader Lumir Abdixhiku called for unity within the political spectrum, a call that was interpreted as an invitation for the return of President Vjosa Osmani and other former members who left the LDK.

In a post on social media, Abdixhiku called for the unification of what he called the "institutionalist camp", emphasizing that supporters of the Republic and the Euro-Atlantic path have a common political home.

According to him, the time requires a common project that transcends the divisions and disagreements of the past.

"The time calls for unity, of institutionalists, supporters of the Republic, and all travelers on the Euro-Atlantic path."

All of them have a common home, the Democratic League of Kosovo, therefore, I will launch a great political and civic union around a common project, a project that transcends each of us, that transcends small differences, great ambitions and the bitterness of the past.''

The call for unity comes at a time when the political scene has been engulfed by discussions about possible repositionings among figures who were once part of the LDK.
