Harry Kane could win his first trophy today after a 15-year career

Bayern Munich players could win the German championship title today and it also means that Harry Kane will finally hold the trophy in his hands after 15 years of career.

Bayern will host Mainz at the Allianz Arena today at 15:30 PM and with a win and a mistake by Bayer Leverkusen they can celebrate the title.

The Bavarians have an eight-point advantage over the 'Aspirins', who also host Augsburg, and the calculation is clear when it comes to the Bavarian giants - a win would make them champions if Bayer Leverkusen does not beat Augsburg, as they would then have at least a 10-point gap with three rounds remaining.

It would also be the first career trophy for Kane, arguably one of the best strikers of the last ten years.

Kane began his professional career at Tottenham in 2010, and was loaned to Leyton Orient, Millwall, Norwich and Leicester, but never won any trophies in England.

When he moved to Bayern Munich in the summer of 2023, it seemed he would immediately break his fast given the Bavarian giants' dominance in Germany, but last season Bayer Leverkusen won both the Bundesliga and the German Cup and in the Champions League, Bayern Munich were stopped in the semi-finals by eventual champions Real Madrid.

This season Bayern Munich was eliminated in the Champions League in the quarterfinals by Inter, while they stopped in the 1/8 of the German Cup and the only chance for a trophy remained in the Bundesliga and today they can achieve the 34th title of the German champion, while Kane the first trophy of his career. /Telegraph/
