Haradinaj nominated as candidate for prime minister, AAK launches campaign with slogan "By Your Side"

The President of the Alliance for the Future of Kosovo, Ramush Haradinaj, was nominated today by the AAK General Council as candidate for Prime Minister and bearer of the electoral list for the general elections of December 28. At the same meeting, the Council also approved the list of 110 candidates for deputies, selected according to the principle of regional, professional and gender inclusiveness.
AAK has also made public the campaign slogan for these elections, "By Your Side", and has approved the election program built on three main pillars: sustainability and heritage, welfare and economic development, and security and Euro-Atlantic integration.
Haradinaj has stated that the combination of the Alliance's courageous and visionary leadership, the broad representative list, and the clear economic development program constitute the foundations of the offer that AAK presents to citizens in the parliamentary elections.
In the economic program, the Alliance foresees annual economic growth of 7%, as well as an increase in GDP from 12 to 14 billion euros within the four-year mandate. The state budget is also intended to increase from 3.3 billion euros in 2025, to 4 billion euros in 2026, to reach 6.1 billion euros by the end of the mandate.
According to Haradinaj, this budget policy guarantees financial stability and creates space for salaries and pensions to increase by 31% by 2026, reaching an average salary of 1,100 euros and a pension of 500 euros, depending on the category. He announced that salaries and pensions will be adjusted annually with economic development and inflation.
The Alliance also predicts a significant increase in the capital investment category, which will mark an increase of 61% in the first year of the mandate and will reach 240% by 2029.
Haradinaj emphasized that AAK is entering the elections with the aim of restoring normality in the country, strengthening economic development and welfare, advancing towards NATO and EU membership, and restoring the strategic partnership with Western allies, led by the United States of America.
"By your side for our common Kosovo. May you be blessed!", concluded Haradinaj.
