Haradinaj after meeting with Osmani: Possible dates for new elections: April 5, 12 or 19

Former leader of the Alliance for the Future of Kosovo, Ramush Haradinaj, spoke after a consultative meeting with the country's president, Vjosa Osmani, regarding political developments and the possibility of organizing new parliamentary elections.
Haradinaj announced that several possible dates for holding the elections were discussed at this meeting, with April 5, 12 and 19 mentioned as options, although according to him, there may be other dates depending on developments.
"The meeting has just ended and consequently the president has acted based on the powers she has, with the decree to dissolve the Parliament," said Haradinaj.
He also commented on the absence of the leader of the Vetëvendosje Movement, Albin Kurti, from the meeting.
"The non-participation of LVV, of course, and the Serbian List were also absent from this meeting. Their failure to come today, even with opposing opinions to confront and present them at this meeting, which is the highest possible of political parties with the president of the country on such a sensitive topic, is a kind of breach for the country and its institutions," he said.
He also criticized sending the case to the Constitutional Court, calling it an unnecessary action.
"I think that addressing the Constitutional Court is an insult in itself to the process. They knew about the 30-day deadline and made a joke by calling the session yesterday. In any situation, we must maintain our honor. No one blames the LVV for their behavior," said Haradinaj.
Regarding the election date, he emphasized that the party he leads does not have any particular preference.
"The dates could be April 5, 12 and 19. There could be other dates due to developments, but we do not have a preferred date. We respect any of these dates," Haradinaj declared. /Telegraph/
