Haradinaj: Osman's meeting with Pope Leo XIV strengthens Kosovo's international position

Kosovo President Vjosa Osmani held a private audience with Pope Leo XIV, placing Kosovo among the few countries in the world that have hosted him since his election in May, according to reported public meetings – fewer than 10 countries.
Former Kosovo Minister of Foreign Affairs, Meliza Haradinaj, believes that this development proves Kosovo's commitment to peace, religious harmony and regional stability, as well as President Osmani's strategic vision, which finds deep resonance in the Holy See.
"In the context of a perpetual papacy, the early meeting with the new Pope creates a strong basis for long-term support and for the development of strategic relations with the Vatican, strengthening the foundations for lasting recognition and cooperation in the years and decades to come."
This meeting is seen as a key step in strengthening Kosovo's international position and advancing strategic relations with Vatican institutions. /Telegraph/
