I am concerned that the results of the elections we just held will not solve the daily problems our citizens face. The energy crisis is alarming.

Many settlements are facing prolonged power cuts, at a time when temperatures are low and it is known that most Kosovo citizens have their heating through electricity. Also, during this period, there are many brothers and sisters from the diaspora who are spending their holidays in their homeland.

This situation is unacceptable and requires immediate action. It is urgent to invest in new energy capacities, including the construction of coal and gas-fired power plants, so that this trauma does not continue for our citizens, both with energy shortages and with bills at prices beyond any normal level. Energy security should be treated as a national emergency. /Telegrafi/
