Hansi Flick talks about the next two trophies that Barcelona remain in the race for, La Liga and the Champions League

Barcelona took another step closer to their dream of a treble this season, winning 3-2 in the Copa del Rey final against Real Madrid.

La Blaugrana bounced back against their bitter rivals in El Clasico after Jules Kounde snatched victory in the closing stages of extra time.

This caused scenes of anger on the Real Madrid bench, with three players sent off, with the possibility of multiple suspensions.

As Barcelona celebrated, Hansi Flick quickly turned his attention to the next step of the season, as Barcelona's schedule remains packed.

Flick secured the Spanish Super Cup at the start of 2025, with a victory over Real Madrid in Saudi Arabia, but the Copa del Rey is his first major title at the club.

The former Bayern Munich coach is on course for a treble in his debut season, with a comfortable lead over Los Blancos in the title race and a place in the Champions League semi-finals.

Barcelona are four points behind the defending champions with five games to play and play Inter in their first Champions League match on April 30.

"There are still two games left to reach the point of winning the Champions League, but today was fantastic."

"It was a great atmosphere. I'm very happy to be able to celebrate a big win against Real Madrid with my team and this gives us confidence to continue and win more," Flick declared.

Flick will look to balance his team in the competition, with a key date on the schedule, where he again hosts Real Madrid at home on May 11, a match that decides whether the title will remain in Madrid or go to Catalonia.

If Flick gets past Inter, Barcelona will face either former coach Luis Enrique and PSG or Mikel Arteta's Arsenal in the Munich final. /Telegraph/
