The leader of the Democratic Party of Kosovo (PDK), Bedri Hamza, has stated that if a candidate from the Jashari family were to run for the post of president, the PDK would provide its support for this candidate.

In an interview for the show "Pressing", Hamza said that the Jashari family constitutes a special case in the country's history and has a special value compared to any other candidate.

"They are a special case in history, they are of a different value compared to everything else. If a candidate from the Jashari family were to come forward, I am sure 22 PDK votes would have been for that candidate," declared Hamza.

He added that the decisions of the Jashari family are respected and the PDK will respect them, emphasizing the importance and historical influence of this family in the country.

"We have heard the statements of the members of this family and for me every decision this family makes is respected," said Hamza.
