Hamas releases names of three hostages to be released in next exchange

Hamas has released the names of three Israeli hostages it says it will release on Saturday in the fifth exchange of a fragile ceasefire in Gaza.

The hostages are Eli Sharabi, Ohad ben Ami and Or Levy, according to Abu Obeida, Hamas spokesman.

In exchange for the release of three Israeli hostages, Hamas expects 183 Palestinian prisoners to be released, it writes. sky news, the Telegraph reports.


It is known that Ami and Sharabi were taken during the attack on October 7. The attack saw about 1200 Israelis killed and about 25 taken hostage.

Levy was kidnapped from the Nova music festival.

Of the released Palestinian prisoners, 18 have served life sentences, 54 have served long sentences and the vast majority, 111, were detained in the Gaza Strip during the war.

Sharabi's wife and two children were reportedly killed in the October 7 attack.
