Halil Kastrati, director of the "Balkan Orphans" Association, has announced that on the Night of Power, around 5 million euros were collected for families in need.
In a Facebook post, he described this evening as an extraordinary night, where the generosity of Albanian businessmen was expressed through charitable contributions.
"The first Iftar organized by the 'Balkan Orphans' Association in Emerald gathered businesses from all over Albania, who became part of a magnificent project for those most in need. With unparalleled solidarity, they donated nearly 5 million euros, proving once again that kindness and humanity are values that unite us," Kastrati wrote.
He thanked all contributors and wished that God would reward them for their good deeds.
