Haaland wants to play for Real Madrid

Manchester City striker Erling Haaland reportedly wants to play for Spanish giants Real Madrid in the near future.

Haaland recently signed a new nine-and-a-half-year contract keeping him at Manchester City for the next decade.

However, reliable sources say there is a release clause in that contract that allows Haaland to leave for another club if that fee is paid.

That fee is unlikely to be above €180m, meaning Real Madrid could realistically acquire him within a year or two.

"I believe that Erling Haaland can play at Real Madrid. It will happen," one of the media's reporters initially said. El Chiringuito TV.

"Haaland didn't say it publicly, but I know, from a good source, that he would like to be a Real Madrid player. I know that," he insisted. /Telegraph/
