The special envoy of the White House for the Kosovo-Serbia dialogue, Richard Grenell, has reacted to the statement of the Millennium Affairs Coordinator, Petrit Selim, who said that there is a possibility that the USA will remove visas for Kosovars within 45 days.

"The strong slap in the face of the EU in its racist attitude towards Kosovo may come from Washington and the administration of the US president, Donald Trump. Kosovo media reports that the US will announce visa-free travel for Kosovo and Serbia to the United States, 45 days after the Agreement on Economic Normalization", writes Selimi.

Grenell reacted to this post, denying such a thing.

"It's not true," Grenell wrote briefly, in response to Selim's post on Twitter.

Selimi also wrote that the United States of America, through a grant, will enable Kosovo to build a gas pipeline in North Macedonia and Greece, to bring non-Russian gas closer to the Balkans, for which an agreement is being made. was now discussed according to him.

“‘Energy diversification’ is probably about getting a quick grant from the US soon to build a gas pipeline in North Macedonia and Greece bringing non-Russian gas closer to the central Balkans. The whole deal is being negotiated as we speak. Announcement expected before the end of the year,” Selimi wrote.

To these consecutive posts, Grenell replied briefly: "It is not true."

Even the Minister of Justice, Selim Selimi, said that a great achievement for Kosovo happened in Washington regarding the removal of visas from the USA.

He said that Kosovo has already entered the US visa waiver program and there are still some procedures that need to be carried out.

"Grenell and O'Brien promised that soon Kosovo will enter the US visa waiver program. This program is a process that we must go through," he said./Telegraph/
