Greece is hit by an earthquake

As reported, Greece was recently hit by an earthquake.

According to the Greek Institute of Seismology, the earthquake had a magnitude of 4.1 on the Richter scale, with the epicenter in the city of Arta, Telegrafi reports.

So far, no injuries or material damage have been reported.


Otherwise, the 4.1 magnitude earthquake comes after several other tremors of lower intensity in different parts of Greece such as Heraklion, Chalkida and Athens.

In the last 24 hours, Greece has had 95 tremors:

1 earthquake above magnitude 4;

2 earthquakes of magnitude 3 and 4;

20 earthquakes of magnitude 2 and 3;

72 earthquakes below magnitude 2 that people don't normally feel. /Telegraph/
