A goose attacked a golfer, causing chaos on the course in a viral video of the terrifying moment, which forced the man, carrying his bag of clubs, to fall into nearby water.

The original video appears to be from April 5, posted on the TikTok account of college golfer Tyler Lynch, the Telegraph reports.

The third-year player at Division III Goucher College in Towson, Maryland, retweeted footage last month of what appears to be teammate Samuel Tyson hitting the water after missing a shot of his golf club towards the wild goose with the caption, 'Dear Golf.'

This video now has over 7.7 million views. In the original video, the golfer who hit the water is named 'Sam', pointing to Tyson, the only person with that name on Goucher's roster last season, who is unaware of the red goose that gets in his way between holes of play.

Tyson flinches when he sees the bird and takes a few steps back to avoid a confrontation. The bird then attacks Tyson, who makes several unsuccessful moves to ward it off.

As the movements occur, Lynch begins to fall down a hill and eventually falls back into the nearby water. He remains in the water for several seconds before running away. /Telegraph/
