Google apps will get the power of artificial intelligence

Google recently announced that it is bringing new AI-based productivity features within its apps, and these will use Gemini for certain tasks.
The updates apply to Docs, Sheets, Slides, and Drive apps, and are currently in beta for Google AI Ultra and Pro subscribers. These changes are intended to make users' work much faster and more efficient.
In Google Docs, users can now create complex first drafts — including brochures or long outlines — by giving Gemini a rundown, which uses information from meetings or event lists in documents. Additional features include writing style matching to maintain a consistent tone across documents and format matching that automatically populates templates with data from emails and bookings.
In Sheets, users can describe complex tasks, like organizing a move, and Gemini creates checklists, catalogs, and expense tracking spreadsheets using information found in your inbox. It also has autofill features that generate text, categorize data, and create summaries using Google search.
In Slides, artificial intelligence can produce graphics and diagrams that tie in well with the existing topic, and the company has promised future features that will allow the creation of entire presentations just by giving a request.
In Google Drive, a new AI-powered summary has been introduced that appears at the top of search results, summarizing the most important documents without having to open them. There's also the ability to talk directly to artificial intelligence within Drive, analyzing data from files as needed, such as preparing questions for a tax advisor based on tax documents.
These new features are currently available in English to users worldwide, while for Drive the functionality will initially be limited to users in the United States. /Telegraph/
