Gjinovci tells how he left football to join the KLA

Former footballer, Hysni Gjinovci, was the next guest on the "Arena of Stars" podcast, which is a production of Telegrafi.

He recounted his most inspiring story, where he left football to join the KLA.

"I want to mention that, a little earlier than '97, with Sylejman Selimi, the general, we were very good friends," Gjinovci initially confessed.

"We played small-sided football together, big-sided football together, we almost grew up together. In '95, he came to Beselidhje, a little later than me, but his love for Drenica brought him back there."

"He told me he was going to Germany because the police had beaten him up and he told me he couldn't take it anymore."

"But he didn't tell me about the illegal time when the KLA was being formed, in 1997-98 when they started wearing masks...", the former footballer continued his story.
