In the Municipality of Gjilan, several infrastructure interventions have been completed that ensure easier and equal access for people with disabilities to municipal administration spaces.
The entrance area in front of the offices of the Directorate for Administration and the Directorate for Public Services has been arranged, creating more suitable conditions for movement.
Just a few days ago, a new elevator dedicated specifically to people with disabilities was put into operation, while the toilets were renovated and adapted to meet the necessary standards for this category of citizens. Also, the special counter at the Civil Registry Office now offers them faster and more timely services, reports the Telegraph.
Fadil Ademi, acting head of the Civil Status sector at the Directorate of Administration, said that the improvements made are small in cost, but have a great impact on citizens.
"We ensure equal and easy access to the entrance of the Directorate of Administration and Public Services, creating better conditions for all citizens. We continue with Mayor Alban Hyseni", said Ademi.
The Municipality of Gjilan has announced that other investments in accessibility will continue in other public spaces. /Telegraph/
