Girls' school burns in Kenya, just a day after a fire killed more than 20 students at another school
A girls' secondary school in Kenya has been engulfed in flames, just a day after more than 20 people were killed in a fire at a boys' primary school.
"Some students are said to be trapped inside," the Kenya Broadcasting Corporation (KBC) said.
The Kenya Red Cross said response teams had been activated following a reported fire at the Girls Secondary School in Isiolo County. CNN, the Telegraph reports.
As reported, the fire in Isiolo comes a day after a deadly fire at Endarasha Academy in the country's Nyeri county.
Authorities said the fire at the boys' dormitory had killed at least 21 people.
As reported, 19 bodies were recovered from the scene and two others died after being taken to the hospital. /Telegraph/
