Gërvalla represents Kosovo at the first International Conference of Italophony in Rome

Deputy Prime Minister and Acting Minister of Foreign Affairs and Diaspora, Donika Gërvalla, has traveled to Rome to participate in the first International Conference of the Italophone, which will take place on November 17 and 18, 2025.
According to the MFA, the conference is organized by the Italian Ministry of Foreign Affairs in collaboration with the "Dante Alighieri" Association and aims to promote the Italian language as a tool for international cultural cooperation.
The focus of this event is on the topics of shared identity, intercultural dialogue, peace, economic development, and cultural diplomacy.
"Italophonia will be presented as a platform for development and economic growth, strengthening relations between civil societies, institutions and Italian-speaking communities around the world," the announcement states.
Minister Gërvalla's participation reflects the strong cultural relations between Kosovo and Italy, while she will emphasize the role of the Albanian diaspora in Italy as a bridge for cultural and economic cooperation. /Telegrafi/
