Germany, two severed hands found on highway - investigations begin

A horrific sight shocked drivers on the German A45 motorway when human body parts were found on the road.
Police were notified by a female driver who noticed unusual objects on the road and, according to unofficial information, they were two severed hands of a woman, writes the German newspaper Bild.
A police patrol was immediately sent to the section between the Olpe-Sud and Freudenberg intersections, where officers confirmed the terrifying suspicions.
The highway is currently closed in both directions and homicide investigators have arrived at the scene to conduct an investigation and search the wider area.
The State Attorney's Office is not revealing exactly how many body parts were found.
It remains unclear how they ended up on the highway, but according to initial information, investigators are ruling out the possibility that these are the consequences of a road accident.
The A45 motorway reopened to traffic in the morning, but the investigation into this horrific incident continues in full force. /Telegraph/
