The German Ambassador to Kosovo, Rainer Rudolph, congratulated the citizens of Kosovo on the occasion of the 18th anniversary of Independence, emphasizing the strong friendship and stable partnership between the two countries.

In his message, Rudolph stated that from Germany to Pristina and from Kosovo to Berlin, this day is celebrated together, underlining the close connection between the two peoples.


He recalled that Germany was among the first countries to recognize Kosovo's independence, adding that the partnership between the two states was built long before the declaration of independence and has been continuously strengthened over the years.

According to the ambassador, democracy, freedom and mutual respect are the values ​​that unite the two countries, while around 600 thousand Kosovars living in Germany keep the connection between them alive and dynamic.

Rohde described Kosovo, on its 18th anniversary, as a true success story, expressing confidence that the next chapter of the common future will be even brighter.
