Following the autopsy of George Michael, who was reported to have died of natural causes, ex-boyfriend Fadi Fawaz reveals another detail about the late music legend.
The multi-award winning artist died aged 54 at his home on Christmas Day 2016
British police immediately announced that the death did not occur under suspicious circumstances, and in March 2017 it was announced that he died of heart problems and liver damage.
However, in emails allegedly handed to British magazine The Sun, Favez, with whom the singer was in a relationship for four years, is claiming that he died on Christmas Eve after a fifth and successful suicide attempt.
"I'm tired of people asking what happened over Christmas. Well, let me tell you... George died on his mother's birthday, that might be the answer. Not to mention that he tried to kill himself five times. I think it's important to know everything," Fadi told reporters.
Georget's mother, Leslie Harrison, was born on December 24, 1938 and died of cancer in 1997.
Fadi's alleged e-mail, which has been broadcast by the British media, reveals that Michael was found dead on December 25. Fadi found his body on Christmas morning. /Telegraph/
