General strike in Serbia, US embassy in Belgrade reacts

Various groups are organizing marches on main streets, bridges and intersections in Belgrade and are calling for a general strike across Serbia.

As stated on the website of the United States Embassy, ​​“it is expected that marches will take place in Novi Beograd and downtown Belgrade, possibly, but not exclusively, in the areas around the intersection of Nemanjina Street and Kneza Milosa Street, the Usce shopping center, the Zemun gymnasium, the Novi Beograd City Hall building, parts of the E75 highway, and the Autokomanda,” the embassy statement further states.
