Gashi: LVV is trying to form the government itself – if it does it with the Serbian List, it is suicide

Lawyer Tomë Gashi has commented on the possibility of forming a government from the Vetëvendosje Movement.

He emphasized that the LVV is trying to form a government with minority parties, but the latter are not interested in a coalition and, according to him, are only raising the bar.

Gashi emphasized that if LVV fails in its attempt, it will then be able to offer cooperation with opposition parties, which, according to him, are ready to accept any opportunity for cooperation.

"VV is trying to form the government itself with these minority parties, without the Serb List, because doing it with the Serb List is suicide and LVV will never do this... LVV will try to form the government itself, if this fails, the next time if each party is offered each of these opposition parties, all these opposition party leaders are eagerly waiting", Gashi emphasized on Debat Plus.

Meanwhile, political analyst Viktor Buzhala has stated that the most stable and long-term coalition is the one between the Vetëvendosje Movement (LVV) and the Democratic Party of Kosovo (PDK).

"The soundest, longest-term, most stable coalition is LVV - PDK, as this also ensures the election of the president without the votes of the Serbian List, even Vlora Çitaku said in a low voice that they would not form a coalition with VV, then they softened the situation. I see PDK still in the government, and the real chances are that PDK will enter into a coalition with LVV," Buzhala declared.

Meanwhile, political analyst Ylli Hoxha has stated that a coalition between the Vetëvendosje Movement and the Democratic League of Kosovo is the last option and almost impossible, due to the great rivalry between the two parties.

Hoxha has predicted that a coalition between the Vetëvendosje Movement and the Democratic Party of Kosovo could become the basic option for forming a government, emphasizing that international pressure will be for this.
