The Hydrometeorological Institute of Kosovo (IHMK) predicts that next week will see unstable weather conditions.

The Meteorological Department announces that there will be rainfall in some areas and in addition, snowfall is also expected.

"Rainfall is expected in low-lying areas, excluding some western and southwestern areas, where in addition to rain streaks there will also be conditions for snowfall, while in high areas above 1100m, precipitation of medium intensity is expected," the IHMK announcement published on 16.03.2025 states.


During this week, temperatures are expected to drop significantly compared to the week we are leaving behind.

On Monday, 17.03.2025, The weather is expected to be mostly cloudy with scattered showers. Minimum temperatures will range from 3 to 5 degrees Celsius, while daytime highs are expected to range between 6-10 degrees Celsius.

Tuesday, 18.03.2025, the weather in Kosovo is expected to be mostly cloudy and sunny, while in certain places there will also be rain showers, mainly in some western areas. Minimum temperatures will range between -4 and -1 degrees Celsius, while daily maximums are expected to range between 4-7 degrees Celsius. Winds will blow from the northeast at a speed of 1-8m/s.

Wednesday, 19.03.2025, sunny weather is expected. Minimum temperatures will range between -3 and -1 degrees Celsius, while daytime highs are expected to range between 8-12 degrees Celsius. Light winds will blow from the northeast.

Thursday, 20.03.2025, sunny weather is still expected. Minimum temperatures will range between -1 and 1 degrees Celsius, while daytime maximums are expected to range between 12-16 degrees Celsius.

While, Friday, 21.03.2025, is expected to remain cloudy with sunny intervals. Minimum temperatures will range between 3 and 5 degrees Celsius, while daytime maximums are expected to range between 14-18 degrees Celsius, according to the IHMK.

Light to moderate winds will blow from the southeast.
