The Mayor of Pristina, Perparim Rama, has confirmed his participation in the protest organized by the "Freedom has a Name" platform, which will be held on February 17, 2026, at 14:00 PM, at "Skënderbeu" Square in Pristina.
Rama emphasized that this protest is a national issue and not just a party issue, and that it should be supported beyond political interests.
He also assured citizens that during that day, urban traffic will operate free of charge, to facilitate the movement of citizens.
"In addition to having supported these processes before, we appreciate and value them, and we must elevate them beyond party interests. This is a national issue. I will be there, and urban traffic will be at the service of citizens free of charge during the protest," said Rama.
