Former LVV MP: There is no math that will re-elect Osman as president

Former Vetëvendosje Movement MP Nasuf Bejta has stated that currently there is no "mathematics" that would enable the election of Vjosa Osmani for a second term as head of state.
On Debat Plus on TV Dukagjini, Bejta said that Prime Minister Albin Kurti is "an excellent connoisseur of political mathematics," but according to him, the numbers in the Assembly are not in favor of electing Osmani.
"Albin Kurti is an excellent connoisseur of political mathematics. There is no mathematics at the moment when he elects Vjosa Osmani as president of the state. There is none. He has said it very clearly. Two is one is not enough. Vote for me or don't vote for me. I consider that Albin has calculated very well."
"With this opposition, there is no way Vjosa can be elected president, despite Albin's wishes. Albin has said that he wants to elect him, but how does he have the votes? He has said it 100 times," said Bejta.
To elect the president, 80 votes are required in the first two rounds, while in the third, 61 votes are sufficient, out of a total of 120 deputies.
