Traffic on state roads across the country is taking place in wintry conditions, on wet roads.
Visibility is reduced due to fog to 60 meters at the Gevgelija - Bogorodica border crossing, to 100 meters at the Strazha border crossing and to 100 meters near Mavrovo.
Traffic intensity on roads outside urban areas is moderate, and there are no longer any delays at border crossings on the Macedonian side for entry and exit from the country.
As of November 15, 2025, the legal obligation to have winter equipment in vehicles is in force, regardless of the current weather conditions. The obligation will last until March 15, 2026.
LAMM appeals to drivers to adjust their speed, respect the posted traffic signals and drive carefully, especially on roads through valleys, river valleys and gorges where there is a possibility of landslides. The appeal applies in particular to the sections Katlanovo - Veles, Mavrovo - Dibër - Struga, Vinica - Berovo and Kocani - Delcevo.
Due to seasonal traffic conditions, the Ohrid - Resen road passing through the Galičica National Park remains closed to traffic for all types of vehicles in the period from November 21, 2025 to March 31, 2026.
