The Kosovo national team has managed to qualify for League B of the Nations League.
The Dardanians triumphed in the Play-Off against Iceland after winning both games 2-1 and 1-3 with great dominance.
Kosovo coach Franco Foda told the official FFK website that he is very proud of the team for the goal they achieved.
"That was our goal. The first goal was to get promoted to League B, from League B and beyond. I'm very, very proud of the team. We knew the opponent was a very, very good team."
"But I was convinced that we were capable of advancing to the EU League, we dominated the game. We played extremely well in attack. We were also very good in the off-ball game and it is clear that the team has developed very well over the past week and months."
