The Mayor of Vushtrri, Ferit Idrizi, hosted today a meeting with representatives of the Government Commission for the Assessment of Damage from Natural and Other Disasters, chaired by Kastriot Lajçi.
Also present at this meeting were members of the Municipal Commission for the assessment of damages from natural and other disasters, with whom the situation created after the recent floods in the territory of the municipality was discussed.
Mayor Idrizi announced that the focus of the discussions was the assessment of the damage caused to households, the agricultural sector, and infrastructure.
He emphasized that cooperation between the local and central levels is essential for a fair and accurate evaluation process.
"During the meeting, the damage caused by the floods to households, the agricultural sector, and infrastructure was discussed. Together we will work closely for an accurate and comprehensive assessment of the damages," Idrizi declared.
He assured citizens that the Municipality of Vushtrri will continue its commitment to come to the aid of those affected by the floods, in full coordination with central institutions.
