Flies won't enter your house if you put this kitchen product on your window

Summer days, as welcome as they are, often bring with them unwanted visitors who enter the home.

The annoying noise of flies can become a real nuisance, especially when they fly around garbage cans or land on fresh fruit and food left outside.

Before you resort to chemical sprays with strong odors and harmful ingredients, there are some natural and simple methods for getting rid of flies.

Besides being annoying, flies can pose a serious health risk, as they can spread bacteria such as Salmonella and E. Coli, especially in the kitchen environment. Therefore, their removal is important for maintaining cleanliness and hygiene.

Sophie Thorogood, technical training manager at Pest-Stop, shares some valuable tips on how to keep these annoying "guests" away, without having to use chemicals.

One product that the expert recommends for use as a fly repellent in the home is cayenne pepper.

She recommends taking a spray bottle, filling it with a glass of water, and putting a teaspoon of pepper in the bottle; stir before using.

Then spray the windows and entrances of the house – the burning smell will effectively repel flies; this way they will not enter your home.

The second solution comes from nature. Lavender, in addition to having a relaxing scent for humans, is highly undesirable for flies.

Sophie explains:
