A tragic event occurred this evening in the village of Graca, Vushtrri, where a residential house was engulfed in flames, taking the life of an elderly woman.
The news was confirmed to the Telegraph. Avni Zahiti, Police spokesperson for the Mitrovica region.
According to him, at around 22:20, the Police received a report that a house was on fire, and police and fire departments immediately responded to the scene.
"As a result of the house being engulfed in fire, a female victim, approximately 80 years old, died at the scene. Emergency medical teams pronounced her dead at the scene," Zahiti stated.
Police investigators, in coordination with the competent Prosecutor, are undertaking all investigative actions to clarify the circumstances of the case.
By decision of the State Prosecutor, the victim's body has been sent to the Institute of Forensic Medicine (IML) for autopsy./Telegrafi/
