A fire broke out on Tuesday afternoon in a supermarket warehouse in Pristina, which was being used as an administrative office.

Firefighters immediately intervened at the scene and the situation has now been brought under control.


The news was confirmed by the commander of the Fire Department for the capital, Samed Shkodra, who stressed that there are no reports of injured people.

"There was a fire in a warehouse that was used for administration. The fire is under control. Everything is under control, there is no talk of any spread of the fire. They are also checking the roof of the warehouse. There are no reports of any injuries," he stated.

Shkodra added that the area is being monitored to avoid any possible return of the flames.

According to initial reports, it was an improvised office inside the warehouse, which was used by the market for administrative purposes. The cause of the fire is still unknown and is expected to be investigated by the relevant authorities.
