Fire breaks out in luxury complex in central Moscow – black smoke covers the sky
A huge fire broke out on Monday in a luxury apartment in the Khamovniki district of Moscow, covering the sky with black smoke.
It is reported that the Roma Rossa residential complex has caught fire.
The complex was designed and furnished by Italian architect Piero Lissoni, according to foreign media.
Russia's Emergency Situations Ministry said it received a call about a fire in the six-story building - still under construction.
Authorities sent 70 firefighters, who brought the fire under control within an hour and completely extinguished it immediately.
The cause of the fire is still unknown, while information about possible victims is still being verified. /Telegraph/
