The Central Election Commission (CEC) today announced the final results of the December 28, 2025 elections for the Assembly of Kosovo.

The CEC members approved the candidate lists of all parties, except for the Serbian List. Three members voted in favor, two against from the Vetëvendosje Movement, and the remaining members abstained.

The Chairman of the Central Election Commission (CEC), Kreshnik Radoniqi, has revealed how many seats political parties have won in the Kosovo Assembly.

He announced that the Vetëvendosje Movement won 51.10 percent of the votes, or 57 seats in the Kosovo Assembly, the Democratic Party of Kosovo, 20.19 percent of the votes or 22 seats, the Democratic League of Kosovo, 13.24 percent of the votes or 15 seats, and the Alliance for the Future of Kosovo, 5.50 percent of the votes or six seats.

Meanwhile, of the seats reserved for the Serb minority, nine seats were won by the Serbian List, the largest party of Kosovo Serbs, and one seat by the Party for Freedom, Justice and Survival.

Meanwhile, regarding the issue of the KTDP, Sami Kurteshi from LVV was also included in the discussion.

He said that the election of two candidates for MPs by the KTDP is illegal and he will not vote for it.

Meanwhile, the CEC chairman, Radoniqi, said that they had discussed this issue earlier and the parties could file an appeal after the results were announced.

"Regarding the issue of the KTDP, we have discussed this issue, yes, the law says so, but according to me and the Constitutional Court, we are dealing with two seats, where the Assembly requires the fulfillment of the gender quota. The Constitutional Court has addressed this issue in a previous decision. I propose that after the announcement, you exercise this issue by appealing... the rest remains with the KTDP in the ECAP", said Radoniqi. /Telegrafi/
