Filipçe: When the institutions were silent, we raised the truth about Kocani

"We published the truth about Kocani when we saw that the investigation was becoming selective, that someone was trying to close it to a narrow circle, that officials of the institutions were being protected, that the public was left without answers. Then we came out with facts, with documents and with accurate information. And when this happened, the Prosecution had to act and the investigation was expanded," said SDSM leader Venko Filipçe at the civic rally in Kocani.
Filipçe recalled that SDSM always stands on the side of the truth and citizens, regardless of the political cost, which it demonstrated with courage and responsibility in action. When institutions remained silent, and the public and parents sought answers regarding the investigation, SDSM began to ask and publicly open some questions.
"We let the institutions do their job. But when we saw that the pain of the parents was starting to be ignored, when we saw that the institutions were starting to close, when instead of the truth, distorted stories began to spread, then we raised our voices. SDSM was the first party to publicly ask questions. We demanded that there be no selectivity, that there be no "protected" ones, that everyone be held accountable, from the first to the last," Filipçe emphasized.
He emphasized that this was not done for the sake of political points, but a human and moral duty, emphasizing SDSM's commitment to justice, accountability, and transparency, especially when others try to hide the truth from citizens./Telegraph/
