SDSM Chairman Venko Filipçe said today that the party's internal reconstruction will be completed in about two weeks.

"I am working intensively in that field. Numerous meetings, numerous coordinations in the last few days. So that in the next two weeks the whole process will be completed," Filipçe said.

On Tuesday evening, Filipçe demanded the resignation of the entire leadership, including the Executive Board, which begins the process of reorganization and reform of the party, a month after the local elections where SDSM came out with a bad result.

Regarding the initiative for a government majority inquiry commission that will examine all tragedies, he expressed regret that the government did not dare to support the request of the families of the victims and injured.

"I really think they want to relativize everything. I said from the beginning that we will support every initiative for discussion on every topic in the Assembly and we will do this. We will participate in every session, in every committee that is in the Assembly. We voted for that initiative which through tricks came, as often happens in the Assembly, for voting on the agenda. They returned our initiative with a remark, intentionally even though there was no room, so that a second one could come. Here we supported their initiative, because they want to relativize everything. Why didn't they create survey committees for everything they wanted so far? They can do this," said Filipçe.

SDSM believes that there should be two investigative commissions, one proposed by the governing majority, where they want to discuss all the tragedies of the past, but also a more specific investigative commission just for the tragedy in Kocani.
