A serious incident occurred this afternoon in Istog, where a person suffered serious bodily injuries, suspected to have been caused by an axe.
According to information, the incident occurred after a physical altercation between the victim and another suspect.
The case was confirmed to the Telegraph by the Police spokesman for the Peja region, Fadil Gashi.
He announced that the injured person was immediately transported to the Emergency Department of the Peja Regional Hospital for medical treatment.
"One of those involved suffered serious injuries and was sent for medical treatment to Peja Hospital. The suspect, who is known to law enforcement, managed to leave the scene and is currently being sought," said Gashi.
Police have launched investigations to fully uncover the circumstances of the incident and are asking for the cooperation of citizens for any information that may help in apprehending the suspect. /Telegraph/
