The process of verification and counting of votes is continuing in several Municipal Counting Centers, while in some municipalities this process has already been completed.

The Central Election Commission has updated today, October 17, the latest data, which show a very close race in Mitrovica, reports Telegrafi.

The Democratic Party of Kosovo (PDK) candidate, Arian Tahiri, has so far secured 13,166 votes, representing 49.23% of the vote.

Meanwhile, Faton Peci from the Vetevendosje Movement (LVV) received 12,437 votes, or 46.50%.

So far, 91 out of a total of 105 polling stations in this municipality have been counted. /telegraph/
