Ferizaj Police launches awareness campaign "Hands on the wheel, not on the phone"

The Regional Police Directorate in Ferizaj has launched today the awareness project "Hands on the wheel, not on the phone", an initiative that will be implemented by the Regional Road Traffic Unit in cooperation with the police stations of Ferizaj, Kaçanik, Shtima, Shtërpce and Hani i Elezit, as well as with the support of the NGO "Youth Assembly of Ferizaj", reports Telegraph.
According to the Police, the campaign was conceived by the Office for Information and Public Relations of the DRP-Ferizaj, with the aim of conveying an awareness message to all traffic participants:
"A second on the phone can be too late. Hands on the wheel, not on the phone."
During the preventive and educational phase, which will last until October 12, 2025, various activities will take place, including:
distribution of information leaflets;
placing posters on streets and public squares;
holding awareness lectures in schools in the region.
The police have announced that from October 13, 2025, the implementation of punitive measures will begin against all drivers who do not respect traffic laws and endanger road safety.
This initiative aims to raise awareness about the use of the phone while driving and improve road safety throughout the Ferizaj region. /Telegrafi/
